Celebrating

Ian and I went out to dinner tonight for crab legs....they are sooo good! We were celebrating because Ian got 'employee of the month' at Congressional, I know, you thought that was only at the grocery store...but no, its at Congressional too! And we were celebrating because I got the test results of my ultrasound back and I don't have gallstones, which means I don't have to eat a low fat diet! :) Needless to say, it was a really good dinner. Now we just have to figure out where my back pain is coming from and all will be good.

My christmas wish

Oh how irrational of a wish it is, but I still want a dog. My real christmas wish/prayer is that we get home safely, everyone is healthy and happy, and we get to see all our friends and family and have some good quality time together. What is your Christmas wish?

Ian took this pic a few nights ago when it was 'bitterly cold' (quoting the weather guy) and it was like 36...give me a break. Washingtonians are wimps, thats all I have to say. The Redskins also suck.....Ian and I root against them every week. Even if the packers lose, it is a good week if the redskins also lose. Although we are kind of traitors, cause we've gone to a redskins game and Ian just got tickets to another one....don't worry, we'll wear our packers garb. :) Can't wait to come home in a couple weeks and see how REALLY cold it actually is.....and see the snow of course!

Sammy likes mac n' cheese

Ah yes, its like having a toddler. Sammy loves mac and cheese, especially with peas in it. Note the orange flecks in his feathers, thats mac and cheese too. In many ways he's exactly like a toddler....Ian and I think he's just about as smart as one.
