9 months

Here's our little Lucy pie! I tried hard to capture her morning 'do....her hair is so funny sometimes I can't help but laugh at her. she of course could care less! We've been enjoying every minute of her personality coming out~she is such a little person, its so cool. Not much on the motor skills homefront, she still hates tummy time and could care less about crawling. She is great at sitting, and has started to reach for toys and falls over a lot trying to get to them. Ian thinks she's going to skip crawling, I'm still going to hold out hope....she might be 14 months by the time it happens though at the rate she's going!! We'll see! So far she has her two bottom teeth in, I am just starting to get a glimpse of them when she laughs. I guess we should find a toothbrush! She still loves to eat, and her absolute favorites are still zucchini and sweet potatoes. She's been on a meat strike for awhile, but once in awhile she'll take a couple bites of chicken or egg yolk. I just gave her some salmon for dinner and she seemed to really like it!

She stopped eating the sweet potatoes tonight only when it was covering her eye and she couldn't see. I would wipe it off and she would keep going to town! It is oh so messy, but She loves it so much I can't help giving it to her!!
Lastly, here is her helping dad put up christmas lights! We got our tree a couple days ago and haven't finished decorating, I'll post our tree chopping experience soon! Tomorrow we go for her 9mo. appt, so we'll have stats to share soon! I can't believe its already christmas!! Last year I remember thinking we'd have a 10 mo. old, now its so natural and so fun to be sharing this time of year with her. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

First haircut!

Before:

Waiting at the salon

After! hardly any tears!

Pretty girl

Short short short!

This is the picture we took in to the hair dresser ;)

See the resemblance? Ian called this one....her hair is REALLY short, but sooo much better. She would cry every morning when I combed the rats nests out of her hair....the before pictures don't really do it justice, when it was not ratted and combed straight it was well past her shoulders! The poor child probably hated me for combing her hair! In the same day we also have two teeth poking through the bottom! No symptoms, no fussing, bad sleep or anything, just teeth! I don't know if I'll be able to get a picture, she hardly lets me see them.
