9 months pregnant!

36 weeks down, about 4 to go! This picture was actually taken last week, but I haven't gained 20 lbs since then so it should give you an idea. :) We've spent the past week getting things ready (we have a long way to go!) But it is all coming together. I've been having plenty of contractions and am starting to progress! (kind of surprised me). I've been going to the chiropractor for some tension in my erector spinae muscles (had problems with them in the past). And it seems to be helping. I get really ancy in the car driving to and from work for an hour each way, thats when it seems to be the worst. Ian and I are going to birthing classes with the Bradley Method that are helpful. Ian's goal is to learn how to not pass out, and with God's help we are hoping to have a natural delivery. My goal is to stay at home as long as possible so I come in crowning and Ian has to run in to the E.R. yelling, "THE BABY'S COMING" as we were instructed to do on our hospital tour last week. :) It was pretty funny. Just kidding. We will have to play it by ear when I go into labor, since we live about 30 miles from the hospital and there is such a thing as rush hour around here. The goal would be to stay at home until contractions are about 2-3 minutes apart, but if there's any chance of snow, and its not good traffic time, we might be down there sooner. Hopefully next week we will have the nursery together and I can post some pictures. Its starting to look like a baby's room!

Last thing, we are going to have a contest for you all! If you comment on here with a guess at the date and hour that little baby W will be born and are closest without going over, we will treat you to a video skype call from the hospital :) Same for if you can guess the weight; closest without going over will get a video skype call from her!

Baby Shower

Here are some pictures from our baby shower, which was a lot of fun. My gracious aunts hosted for us, and baby W. is sure to be all decked out! She is certainly going to like clothes like her mom.... :) It was so flattering and honoring to have so many people come and receive such nice gifts. I am very thankful for our family and friends and all their love and support.
