Addicted

I am officially addicted to Jodi Picoult books. I just bought my fourth one and none have them have I been able to set down! She is such a good writer.... I cannot even describe it.
On another note, this is a picture of me last week. Ian and I had seafood for lunch, and I found my first seafood that I didn't like. I was really disappointed with myself. I ordered an appetizer of cherrystone clams. They were just a little too chewy and rubbery and I couldn't swallow them whole like mussels, which I love. I was pretty sad and tried really hard to like them. Ian just laughed at me as he ate his spiced shrimp. On the other hand, the clam chowder was pretty good.

Mmmmmm a good book

I have to start this blog out by saying that I am a skeptical reader. But when I read a good book, I am engulfed, entranced, addicted. Some of the best books I've read have shaped my life. This book started out being a skeptical one. Just merely for the fact that everyone and their mother has read it. I read another Jodi Piccoult book (saving faith) and it was a page turner that I could not put down. This book turned out to be nothing less. I identified with the medical side of it. I was intrigued by the family interactions that this family had due to their unique circumstances. I could identify with the characters as patients and as human beings. All I really have to say is it was sooooooo good!
