House update

Ian and I thought it would be a good idea to post weekly pictures once they started our house, if for just our own recollection, but for your enjoyment as well. They dug the holes for the footers (whatever that means) yesterday and they are going to pour the concrete tomorrow! We got to learn a little about our neighbors and in a week or two we will go in for a pre-construction meeting to go over everything. I am starting to get excited, I think I will be really excited when there is framing up and we get to walk through it for the first time. We get to officially walk through before they are ready to put the drywall on and then pre-settlement. So we won't get to see the inside a whole lot, but we plan to take lots of pictures!!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! I am celebrating this easter with several new updates that I thought you all would be curious to know. First of all, we have a start date for our house finally! They will start building our row of three townhouses the week of April 6th. They finally sold the other two, so we have neighbors! We are estimating to be in the house close to the end of June or early July. If its not done before probably July 4th, we will just have to wait until after we go home for Brandon and Jen's wedding!

I also quit my job at the hospital finally, so I am down to only working forty hours a week now. I am excited to feel like a normal person now with a monday-friday job and every single holiday off! (Well, the big ones at least).

Ian has been experimenting a lot with his photography, and is lucky enough to have his pieces hanging in a gallery starting april 5th for two whole months! If you want to check out his website, you can see some of his newest photos.
